i know most of the country is REALLY cold but, here in our goofy house, full of windows and minimal insulation, we are really cold right now! the girls take a bath for as long as possible and then hunch down infront of a little space heater to keep warm while i get their clothes. yeah i know we are wimps
yes someday i want to live off the coast of maine, yes i REALLY do!
Well just to let you know how cold we are in Colorado, yesterday's high was 9 degrees. We probably hit that mark sometime around 2pm. Oh, and the overnight temp was -3 degrees. That's what CO temp is going to be like until at least Tuesday. You know it's cold outside when your nose hairs freeze when you breathe. Funny to say I can't wait for it to be 40 degrees again!!! Ha, ha!
ReplyDeleteGirl--the rest of country thinks we're wimps but it gets COLD in California. It's been Arctic up here. Mark Twain said that the coldest winter he'd ever experienced was a summer in San Francisco! ;0
ReplyDeleteP.S. Why (!) didn't they build these houses with insulation?? Mine's 1925-what year is yours? Oh, and mine's full of windows--on the North facing side, no less!!
