off to work now, busy weekend ahead! tomorrow night is the belmont shore parade and hoping it doesn't get rained out. today was "mom's morning muffin" day at school and just as it has the last two years in a row, it rained again for a third straight year. strange!!

we head up to gvl tomorrow, never has thanksgiving meant so much to me. i am truly thankful.

while in hawaii, my girls had a fabulous meeting on living with blindness (so bummed i missed it). we were lucky enough to have seeing eye dogs visit, from the look of the pictures i would say they stole the show.
this has been hands down the fasted race to christmas i have ever experienced. i probably say that every year, but MAN november is just smoking by. i actually bought some christmas ornaments today because i just dont know if i will ever get another chance, who has time to shop? i saw a couple buy 300 dollars worth of toys and high five each other at the checkout stand, whew! they were done i guess. i have always liked to savor the holidays so i am trying to be calm and enjoy it. i guess when i look at my december calendar and see most every day filled with something to do, it gets a bit overwhelming. i totally missed this again, damn it!
oh and by the way, in case any freaks are reading my blog (she won't know who she is, but everyone else will) there is an awesome aisle at k-mart devoted to an entirely purple christmas, purple tree, purple ornaments, purple paper, purple everything. you can spend 1000 dollars on purpling out your house. happy holidays!
working like a freak to get these bags done, one for each girl (from the family we adopted who lost their house in the slide fire), one for another special person who also lost her house and one to donate to the gvl raffle held over thanksgiving weekend. whew! i didnt think it would take most of two days to get done, but at least i finished. now i need to start on my christmas gift list...yikes!
