while we were on vacation, our dogs had fun at our favorite kennel, a small farm of sorts. upon picking them up i got word there are some babies hatching soon and would we like one or two for the girls... so far there has been an adament "no" from dad...so i am just looking on the internet for fun. not that i am doing any research or anything, nothing like that.

We've been wanting chickens for a while now. My husband actually almost got a Japanese friend to look into getting a few for us--you would laugh if you saw where he was thinking of putting them (in our house's inner courtyard--I'm afraid they would spoil the "zen" effect!). Someday, we'll probably have some...
